Broccoli and Cheese Rice Casserole

This quick & easy Rice Casserole is made with our Boil-in-Bag Success® Rice, cheddar cheese, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and broccoli florets.

  • 1 bag Success® White Rice or Success® Brown Rice
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 box (10 oz.) frozen broccoli florets, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 Tbsps butter, melted
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp onion, freshly grated
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper


  • Our Broccoli and Cheese Rice Casserole is a three-step process to deliciousness. Just follow the instructions for cooking up your package of Boil-in-Bag Rice, mix up the rest of the ingredients and pop it in the oven!

    Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare rice according to package directions.

    Step 2

  • Coat a 2-quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium bowl combine broccoli, ½ cup cheese, soup, butter, evaporated milk, water, onion, salt, and pepper. Fold in rice.

    Step 3

  • Pour mixture into prepared dish and top with remaining ½ cup cheese. Bake 20 minutes.

These ingredients including broccoli florets, a half a cup cheese, butter, evaporated milk, onion, and our not-so-secret ingredient–one can of condensed cream of mushroom soup. Add in a bit of water to keep the moisture and–voila, you’ve got yourself a complete meal!
