A perfect comfort food, this Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup is packed with veggies, chicken and rice. With a creamy, hearty broth, this soup is sure to keep you warm.
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Bring chicken broth and evaporated milk to a boil in a large saucepan set over medium heat.
Dissolve cornstarch in water in a small bowl. Add poultry seasoning and stir into hot broth. Stir constantly for 1 minute. Reduce heat to low and stir in chicken, vegetables, salt and pepper.
Continue to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in rice.
If you want to make your soup creamier add some yogurt, as it also adds a little bit of tang too.
