Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® White Rice or Success® Brown Rice
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef or chicken
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 package seasoning for meatloaf
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  • Enjoy a stress-free mealtime with the family with this simple and delicious meatloaf made with your choice of ground beef or chicken.

  • Step 1

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare rice according to package directions.

    Step 2

  • While rice is cooking combine meat, eggs, milk, and seasoning. Fold in cooked rice.

    Step 3

  • Shape into loaf and place loaf in 9X5 inch pan.

    Step 4

  • Bake for one hour or until thoroughly cooked – internal temperature of 155F.

    Step 5

  • Remove from oven and let stand for ten minutes.

    Step 6

  • In a small pan combine ketchup, water, and brown sugar, and any pan drippings. Serve sauce with meatloaf.

Shape the rice mixture into a loaf and place in a 9X5 inch pan and place in the oven to bake. Simple as that!
