Prepare rice according to package directions. Let cool completely.
Meanwhile, toss steak slices with pepper and salt. Heat canola oil in a wok or large skillet set over high heat. Cook mushrooms for 5 to 8 minutes or until brown and slightly crispy. Add steak; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
