Tasty Fusion

Originating in Jamaica, jerk chicken is seasoned with a mixture of spices and peppers for a kick. This recipe uses those marinade flavors to create an Asian-style stir fry unlike any other with crunchy vegetables such as cabbage, red onion and red pepper all sautéed with aromatic jasmine rice and just a hint of savory soy sauce and zesty lime juice.

A balanced meal filled with flavor, this chicken and vegetable fried rice dish is all made in about 25 minutes for a tasty dinner you can make any night of the week!

How to make the best fried rice

We’ve got a couple tips for you to make the best fried rice dish yet!

First, make sure to use long grain rice, we suggest using our aromatic Success® Jasmine Rice for best results as the grains cook up fluffy and separate so the grains heat evenly and absorb all of the flavor! If you have long grain Success® White Rice, it can be substituted in as well. Make it work for you, while still using quality ingredients.

Second, this dish works best using cooked and chilled rice so that no excess moisture makes its way into the dish. Hint: this is a great opportunity to use that leftover rice from yesterday’s Curry Dinner served of Jasmine Rice. However, if you don’t have the time to wait or you’re craving these flavors now, simply lay the cooked rice out on baking tray while you gather your stir fry ingredients.
