From Garden to Plate

How much do we love this veggie salad? Let’s just say, it’s on the very top of our list! It’s so versatile, that it’s a perfect picnic salad or a great side for a weekday lunch or dinner. Made with fresh veggies, whole grain brown rice and an irresistible, homemade dressing, you can see why it makes an impression.

Our favorite part of this dish is the fact that you can get both your veggies and your carbs all in one! Just add a protein and you’ll have a perfectly balanced meal. Aside from that, it also holds up well and can be made well in advance.

The secret to making this irresistible salad is all in the homemade dressing. With rice wine vinegar, reduced-sodium soy sauce and fresh garlic, this is the kind of versatile vinaigrette you can use to freshen up almost any salad.

Also, this dressing is easily soaked up by our Success® Brown Rice, thinly sliced cucumbers, chunks of fresh tomatoes and chopped green onions. With a touch of soy sauce and sesame seeds, it’s Asian-inspired and delicious.
