Prepare rice according to package directions.
Meanwhile, heat 1 cup of evaporated milk, sugar and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add cooked rice to heated milk mixture and continue to cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Beat egg with remaining milk in a small bowl. Gradually pour into hot rice mixture, stirring constantly. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.
