Pudding Perfection

There are many variations of rice pudding, but this is one of our favorites. It’s hard not to love anything with chocolate and this recipe’s rich and creamy texture will make you love it even more. Made with Success® Jasmine Rice, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon and decadent cocoa powder, this delectable rice pudding can be enjoyed as a dessert or snack any time that sweet tooth beckons.

What makes this recipe even better is that it can be prepared and refrigerated ahead of time to enjoy later. The steps to make this dish are simple and similar to those used in other rice pudding recipes. You start by cooking the rice with cream and milk instead of water. You then add the rice to a mixture of cream, milk, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Simmer this mixture until thick and then either enjoy it in all its warm, creamy glory, or refrigerate it for a chilled snack later. It’s a satisfying treat no matter which way you eat it!

Mix it Up

Chocolate pairs well with many things so get creative and add some yummy toppings to this dish. Enjoy it as a warm dessert with banana and a drizzle of caramel. Or, have it chilled and topped with a hefty dollop of whipped cream. You could even crumble our No-Bake Peanut Butter Quinoa Cookies on top for a truly unforgettable sweet.
