Pudding this Right Here

There are many variations of rice pudding nowadays, but this one may be one of our favorites. It’s hard not to love anything chocolate and this recipe’s rich and creamy texture will make you love it even more. Made with Success® Jasmine Rice, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and of course, decadent dark chocolate, this delectable rice pudding can be enjoyed as a dessert, or as a snack any time that sweet tooth beckons.

What makes this recipe even better is that it can be prepared and refrigerated ahead of time to enjoy later. Preparation is simple and similar to other rice pudding recipes: cook the rice with cream and milk instead of water, then drain. Add rice to mixture of cream, milk, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Simmer until thick and let cool. From here, you can enjoy it in all its warm, creamy glory, or refrigerate it for a chilled snack later. It’s a satisfying treat no matter which way you eat it.

Mix it Up

Chocolate pairs so well with so many things so get creative and add some yummy toppings. Enjoy it as a warm dessert with banana and caramel drizzle, or chilled and topped with a hefty dollop of whipped cream. We’ve heard peanut butter pairs well with chocolate, too…
