Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® White Rice
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • This recipe for Creamy Chicken and Rice Popovers is the ultimate weeknight dinner. Made with our 10-minute white rice, chicken chunks and Cheddar, these popovers are a complete meal in delicious, flaky pastry!

    Step 1

  • Prepare rice according to package directions.

    Step 2

  • Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

    Step 3

  • Unroll dough and make 2 large squares from each can, pressing seams to seal.

    Step 4

  • Combine rice, Cheddar, chicken, cream cheese, green onions, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Evenly divide mixture between dough squares. Pull up each corner of the dough towards the center, pressing to seal. Place on baking sheet.

    Step 5

  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
