All the Love for Louisiana

Down on the bayou, you’ll find the perfect Jambalaya recipe. Before you get that flight, try our recipe for a classic Jambalaya. Originating from Louisiana, this recipe includes a mix of Spanish, French, and West African flavors, and meat, which is mixed together with veggies and rice.

The majority of Jambalaya recipes call for smoked sausages, such as andouille, while others toss in pork or chicken and even seafood. And If it’s crawfish season, you best believe those are thrown in too.

Similar to paella, it’s also common to mix up the meats or seafood ingredients. For ours, we put together chicken and smoked turkey sausage. These tender meats are sautéed with the ‘holy trinity’ of Lousiana cooking, which includes diced onions, bell peppers, and celery.

After exuding tons of flavor from these components, this mixture gets simmered in a savory bath of tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Creole seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce.

Last but not least, our pre-cooked 10-minute Success® White Rice gets added in and mixed until incorporated.

We’re a Little Shellfish

It’s not every day you get a chance to throw sausage, chicken, and shrimp into a tasty rice combo. Our Jambalaya makes it possible. Add some shrimp to this dish for an explosion of traditional Jambalaya flavors.
