Ready in just 20 minutes, this delicious, simple Three Pepper Pilaf is a perfect side dish to make any day of the week!
Step 1
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Step 2
In a large skillet, fry bacon for 5 to 7 minutes, or until crisp. Remove bacon to a paper towel-lined plate. Drain all but 2 tablespoons of fat from skillet.
Step 3
Heat skillet on medium heat. Add onion, green pepper, red pepper and yellow pepper and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, until tender-crisp. Fold in rice.
Step 4
Combine bouillon and water, stirring until dissolved. Add bouillon mixture to skillet and stir to incorporate.
Step 5
Top pilaf with crumbled bacon and pepper.
