  • Prepare rice according to package directions.

  • Heat cream in microwave for 30 seconds.

  • Add saffron threads and let stand 2 minutes then stir cream until it turns yellow.

  • Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  • Add onions and peas and sauté 2 minutes.

  • Stir in hot cooked rice and saffron cream.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
