Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® Sticky Rice
  • 1 lb pork belly, diced into cubes
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce, divided
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil, divided
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsp green onion, sliced (for garnish)
  • Furikake (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prep your ingredients before you start cooking and have this weeknight friendly dish on the table in just 30 minutes.

    Step 1

Prepare rice according to package directions.

    Step 2

In a large pan or wok, add the pork belly. Cook over medium-high heat for 8 minutes or until crisp and gold brown. Drain excess fat. Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and 1 tsp sesame oil. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from pan and set aside.

    Step 3

In the same pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add onions and cook for 3 minutes until translucent. Add the vegetables and stir fry for 3 minutes. Push vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the eggs into the other side. Scramble for 2 minutes or until fully cooked, then mix in with the vegetables.

    Step 4

Add rice to pan and stir in the pork belly. Add remaining soy sauce and sesame oil. Combine until everything is mixed well.

    Step 5

Garnish with green onions and furikake and serve.
