Party Poppers

Whether it’s football Sunday at your place, a summer barbecue with friends, family game night or any other social gathering, you can’t go wrong with crowd-pleasing jalapeño poppers. We take this classic party favorite up a notch by incorporating our delicious Success® Basmati Rice for added substance and flavor! The added rice step is quick, simple and well worth it.

Even if you’re not a kitchen pro, this simple recipe is easy to whip up. Simply cook the basmati rice and add it to a mixture of cream cheese, garlic, chili powder, Cheddar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Once that is well combined, spoon the mixture into seeded jalapeño halves, sprinkle them with more Cheddar cheese and pop them into the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Easy enough, right? Make as few or as many poppers as you need in no time and watch them disappear just as fast as you make them! Serve alongside a delicious Garden Spinach Dip and you’re set for any guests.

Bake ’em with Bacon

Offer both vegetarian and meat options to your guests by wrapping some of the poppers with half a slice of bacon and securing with a toothpick before baking.

For a plant-based main course, you can offer this vegan meatloaf.
