Always a crowd-pleaser, these cheesy Jalapeño Rice Poppers are perfect for your next barbecue or party!
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400˚F. Prepare rice according to package directions. Allow to cool completely.
Step 2
Meanwhile, stir together cream cheese, garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper until smooth. Stir in rice, 1/2 cup Cheddar and olive oil.
Step 3
Pack 1 tablespoon of mixture into each jalapeño half and arrange on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar.
Step 4
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden, cheese is melted and jalapeños are tender. Sprinkle with cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
