Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® Jasmine Rice
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon, crushed
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lime wedges, optional

Instructions

  • Cook up this Cilantro Lime Rice for the perfect side along with your next roast chicken, Mediterranean kebabs, or as a tasty filling in some homemade burritos.

    Step 1

  • Prepare rice according to package directions, adding crushed bouillon cubes to water.

    Step 2

  • Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion for 2 minutes, then add garlic and cumin, if using. Sauté for 30 more seconds.

    Step 3

  • Remove from heat and fold in cooked rice, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper. Serve with lime wedges, if desired.
