Tabouli Pairing

Tabouli salad or tabbouleh, is a simple Mediterranean inspired salad made with fresh vegetables like cucumber, tomatoes and onions, chopped herbs like parsley and mint all tossed in a lemon and oil dressing.

This is a quick salad that you can put together for a delicious meal in minutes, pair with roasted lemon chicken or Cumin Rubbed Chicken with Artichoke Salsa. You can also make a double batch in a large bowl and bring it to share at your next BBQ or get together.

Although this dish is naturally vegetarian, to make it vegan you can leave out the Feta cheese and check to make sure that your mustard is vegan or simply omit the mustard altogether.

Cooking Methods

With Success® Boil-In-Bag Quinoa, you can prepare this entire dish in less than 15 minutes! If you’re looking to add a bit of extra flavor to your quinoa, you can cook it in water with a bay leaf, use chicken or vegetable broth instead of water or toss a vegetable bouillon cube in with the water.

We suggest you plan ahead and make a few bags at once so that you can take full advantage of the broth or infused water and save some for a meal later like a quick Quinoa Taco Bowl. Prepare your quinoa for two meals at once and save time!
