Tabouli Pairing

Tabouli, or tabbouleh, is a simple Mediterranean salad made with fresh vegetables like cucumber, tomatoes and onions along with chopped herbs like parsley and mint. It’s usually tossed in a lemon and olive oil dressing.

This is a quick salad that you can put together for a delicious meal or side in minutes. It pairs beautifully with roasted lemon chicken or Cumin Rubbed Chicken with Artichoke Salsa. You can also make a double batch in a large bowl and bring it to share at your next BBQ or get-together.

Although this dish is naturally vegetarian, to make it vegan you can leave out the feta cheese. Also check to make sure that your mustard is vegan or simply omit the mustard altogether.

Cooking Methods

With Success® Boil-In-Bag Tri-Color Quinoa, you can prepare this entire dish in just 15 minutes! If you’re looking to add a bit of extra flavor to your quinoa, you can cook it in water with a bay leaf or use chicken or vegetable broth instead of water.

We suggest you plan ahead and make a few bags of quinoa at once so that you can take full advantage of the broth or infused water. Simply save some quinoa for a meal later like quick Quinoa Taco Bowls. Prepare your quinoa for two meals at once and save time!
