Made with basmati rice, gently sautéed onions, freshly-grated ginger root and carrots, our Ginger and Carrot Rice is a perfect side to almost any dish. Pair it with everything from Asian-style marinated salmon to roast chicken!
Step 1
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Step 2
Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until softened and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in carrots, ginger and salt. Cover and let steam for 5 minutes. Stir in cooked rice. Garnish with fresh cilantro, if using.
