Prepare rice according to package directions.
Meanwhile, heat oil in large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté for 3-5 minutes, or until tender.
Stir in chicken, cream cheese and peas and cook until thoroughly combined and cream cheese has melted, 3-5 minutes.
Stir in broth, Parmesan, pesto and cream. Cook for 2 minutes to heat through.
Remove from heat and stir in rice. Garnish with parsley and pepper.
