Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® Tri-Color Quinoa
  • 2 pkg (8 oz each) plain cream cheese, softened
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • pita chips or crackers

Instructions

  • Make yourself a hassle-free snack with this Cheesy Appetizer Spread. Best paired with homemade or store-bought pita chips, this dip is just as delicious as it looks.

    Step 1

  • Prepare quinoa according to package directions. Allow to cool.

    Step 2

  • Combine cream cheese, garlic and nutmeg together in a medium bowl. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Sir in spinach and quinoa.

    Step 3

  • Coat a shallow, microwave-safe dish with nonstick cooking spray. Spread mixture evenly into dish. Top with Cheddar cheese.

    Step 4

  • Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly. Serve hot with chips or crackers.
