  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ½ cup prepared salsa

  • Prepare rice according to package directions.

  • Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add cumin and toast briefly, about 10 seconds.

  • Add oil, garlic, and salsa. Stir and cook for one minute.

  • Add rice and stir to combine. Season to taste with salt, if desired.
