Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® Jasmine Rice
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare rice according to package directions. Let cool slightly.

  • Step 2: In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over medium heat.  Add the garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant, about 3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  • Step 3: Add the rice to the skillet, stirring to combine with the garlic and oil. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 7 minutes, allowing the rice to fry and get slightly crispy.

  • Step 4: Season the rice with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  • Step 5: Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with green onions.

  • Step 6: Adding a fried egg or two can be another extra garnish.
