A delicious combination of hearty Success® White Rice, brown sugar, cinnamon, apple pie filling, raisins and nuts all topped with a crisp brown sugar and oats topping. Prepare rice according to package directions. Cool.
Preheat oven to 350º F and spray an 8-inch square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine rice, pie filling, ½ cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared dish. In the same bowl, combine rolled oats and remaining ½ cup brown sugar. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork, mixing well until mixture is moist. Sprinkle over rice mixture.
Bake 20 minutes. Serve and top with ice cream, if desired.
