Cauliflower Rice 101

There are two popular ways to make riced cauliflower. One way is to use a box grater to grate the cauliflower into small pieces. The second option is to use a food processor with the grater attachment and to simply feed the cauliflower into the food processor a quarter piece at a time.

Once your cauliflower is grated, you want to remove as much water from the cauliflower as possible. For this, we recommend you transfer the riced cauliflower to a large paper towel and squeeze to remove any excess moisture.

Cauliflower rice is best cooked right away. If cooked, it keeps for up to 4 days in the fridge. If you want to eat it raw, it’s best to do so immediately. If you are planning to cook your cauliflower rice later, your best move is to freeze it.  Looking for some unique dinner ideas?
