Beef Thai Basil Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 bags Success® Jasmine Rice (best if a day old)
  • 1/2 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, divided
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves
  • lime wedges

Instructions

  • Need a satisfying weeknight dinner stat? Skip the takeout in favor of this comforting, Thai-style dish.

  • Step 1

    Prepare rice according to package directions. Marinate beef in 1 tbsp of soy sauce and pepper for about 15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; stir-fry for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Add beef and cook for 2 minutes or until browned and cooked through.

  • Step 3

    Add rice. Stir in remaining soy sauce, hoisin sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Turn off heat and toss in basil leaves. Stir just until wilted.

  • Step 5

    Serve hot with a lime wedge.
