  • 1 bag Success® Jasmine Rice, removed from bag
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 tsp salt, divided
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 10 frozen large, cooked shrimp, thawed
  • 10 mussels, scrubbed
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 4 lemon wedges


  • Step 1: In a medium pan or skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper and sauté for 3 minutes or until onion is translucent.

  • Step 2: Add in rice and stir to cover rice with oil. Add chicken broth, ½ tsp salt, and smoked paprika and stir. Bring rice to boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil.

  • Step 3: Season shrimp with remaining salt. At the 5-minute point, add the mussels and shrimp on top of the rice. Recover the rice and finish cooking. With two minutes left, turn heat to medium-high to allow for the rice at the bottom to get crispy.

  • Step 4: Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
