To cook multiple bags, pour 3 quarts water into large saucepan and submerge 2-4 bags of rice, quinoa, or pearl couscous. Bring water to a boil and boil uncovered for 8-10 minutes or 5-7 minutes for pearl couscous. Remove bags with fork or tongs and drain. We do not recommend using the microwave to cook multiple bags.
Success® White Rice, Brown Rice, and Quinoa can wait in hot water with the heat off for as long as 30 minutes after it is cooked.
Place cooked Rice, Quinoa, or Pearl Couscous in a freezer bag. When ready to serve, place rice in a microwave-safe bowl, add a little water, cover with a lid or paper towel. Microwave until warm, approximately 2-3 minutes.
Success® Rice, Quinoa, and Pearl Couscous can be reheated in the microwave. Just add a small amount of water and microwave until warm, approximately 1-2 minutes.
Cook in more water and boil with lid on pot for up to 10 minutes.

Yes! You can substitute the water with liquids like broth, juice, or non-creamy soups, or add a bouillon cube to your water for an extra flavor boost. For thicker liquids, we recommend diluting with a 3 cup water, 1 cup liquid ratio. Prepare rice according to package directions.
We do not recommend cooking Success® products in a rice steamer, rice cooker, or pressure cooker.
Yes! To cook one bag of Success® Rice, Quinoa, and Pearl Couscous in the microwave, submerge 1 bag in about 1 quart of water in a 2-quart microwave-safe dish. Microwave on HIGH 10 minutes (15 minutes for Basmati, Jasmine and, Quinoa). Remove bag with fork or tongs and drain. Cut open and empty cooked rice into a serving dish. Add butter and salt, if desired. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. We do not recommend using the microwave to cook multiple bags. Refer to the range-top preparations.
Success® Rice, Quinoa, and Pearl Couscous is precooked and dehydrated and only requires 10 minutes to rehydrate. Since a crock pot recipe requires several hours of cooking time, it is recommended that you fold in cooked Success® Rice, Quinoa, and Pearl Couscous towards the end of the cooking time.
It is not recommended to cook more than one boil-in-bag in the microwave. The range-top method is best for multiple bags.
