Shrimp Ginger & Turmeric Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Success® Basmati rice
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare rice according to package directions. Add bouillon cubes to water.

  • Step 2: In a medium skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add turmeric and stir.

  • Step 3: Season shrimp with salt and add to skillet. Cook for 3 minutes.

  • Step 4: Remove skillet from heat and add rice. Fully incorporate the rice.

  • Step 5: Garnish with cilantro and serve.
