Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare pearl couscous according to package directions. Replace water with chicken broth.

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes or until softened. Stir in chicken sausage slices and cook for 3 minutes or until browned. Add kale and sauté until just wilted, about 2 minutes.

Stir couscous into the skillet mixture. Mix well to combine. Sprinkle Gruyère evenly over the top.

Bake uncovered for 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
