Steps to Success
To start this recipe, you’ll cook a bag of jasmine rice then set it to the side. Then, you’ll prepare a simple sauce by combining brown sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, chili sauce and soy sauce in a small bowl. In a wok or large skillet, heat oil and quickly scramble an egg over high heat, then set aside. Now comes that stir-frying we mentioned earlier. Heat oil in the wok or skillet and add the garlic and shrimp and stir-fry. Follow that by adding the rice, sauce, onion and cooked egg. Finish by giving everything a good toss to combine all of those tasty ingredients. We like this dish served in bowls and topped with bean sprouts, peanuts, cilantro and a lime wedge.
