FAQ: Storage

According to the USA Rice Federation, uncooked instant white rice like Success® Rice has a very long shelf life. If stored in a sealable container and protected from infestation and extreme temperature fluctuations, white rice products may be maintained "nearly indefinitely". For longer shelf life, refrigerated storage is recommended.

Uncooked instant regular brown rice can be stored for approximately one year if stored in a sealed container and protected from infestation and extreme temperature fluctuations. For longer shelf life, refrigerated storage is recommended.

It is best to store Success® Rice in a heavy plastic or glass container. For best long term storage, Success® Rice can be placed in the freezer or refrigerator.

Rice may be kept in the freezer for an extremely long time. Place in a freezer bag to protect from freezer burn and other freezer odors.

Cooked Success® Rice can be frozen up to six months.
